Why is my PDF file size not shrinking much?
PDFs are complex containers. If your PDF is mainly text (like a Word doc saved as PDF), it is already very small. Compression works best on:
- Scanned Documents: Images inside PDFs can often be optimized.
- Bloated Files: PDFs with unnecessary metadata, fonts, or hidden layers.
Note: Since this tool runs in your browser for privacy, it performs "Lossless" optimization. It won't blur your text, but it also won't aggressively destroy image quality like some server-based tools.
